"intelligence" vient du Latin "inter-ligare", "entre-lier", c'est la capacité à relier les éléments entre eux. Du simple au complexe (comme en français : lettres, syllabes, mots, groupes de mots, phrases...), du particulier au général (pattern recognition, par exemple on sait tous que quand on lâche un objet, il tombe verticalement vers le bas car le cerveau a lié toutes les expériences de chute en une loi générale. Les Maths sont l'étude des lois générales.).
Dans Limitless (2011), Edward Morra définit son intelligence comme étant "connecting the dots", relier les points.
The intelligence is to connect the dots, it is a creative process, it creates links both in the imagination and between the brain cells.
To learn, you have to create, and if you can't do it in your imagination, help yourself with the real world : write, talk, draw, build, anything you want. Because the real world is a perfect memory, it enhances our ability to link.Create until what you learn is easy, then your intuition will link it to the other things, making you understand at a superior level, more complex.
