Emotional lift that makes these videos so addictive :
1-Easy part with satisfying food (+).
2-Painful part (-).
3-Success part (+).

One of the emotional lift is the "amazing lift" :

1-An impossible task to do (-).
2-The impossible done (+).

The more the thing is huge, the more the lift, hence the positive emotion will be.

We have also the "discovery lift".

1-Thing that we know we ignore (-).
2-The discovery (+).

The "size lift".
1-Take an ordinary product (=).
2-Supersize it (++).

It makes me think of the documentary on a McDonald's diet during a month : "Supersize me", which had quite a success.

The more extreme the lifts are, the more addictive it becomes.
